Timeform highlight two horses of interest at Chepstow and Doncaster this evening.
WAY OF STARS - 18:15 Doncaster
WAY OF STARS is still searching for a first win but he has shaped very well on both starts in handicaps and has more to offer.
Way of Stars may well have gone close with better luck in running when third at Southwell on his handicap debut, and he then produced an even better effort when runner-up at Chester.
He was unable to reel in the favourite who was well positioned to strike and secured first run, but Way of Stars kept on strongly to draw four and a quarter lengths clear of the remainder and appeals as an improving three-year-old to keep on the right side.
VAPE - 20:30 Chepstow
VAPE was well backed over this course and distance last time and looked unlucky not to justify that .
He finished sixth but was beaten little more than a length despite getting no room to work with and finishing the race virtually on the bridle.
He's able to run off the same mark here, which is 2 lb below the mark he defied over course and distance last season, so he's well treated.
