Off the mark over fences at Warwick in January. Shaped better than the result when pulled up on two subsequent outings and resumed winning ways following 10 weeks off when landing a 4-runner chase here (24.3f) last month, looking a thorough stayer. Respected from 5 lb lower hurdles mark.

Better than ever in 3 chase runs for James Owen, winning at on stable debut prior to finishing in front of 2 subsequent winners when runner-up at Huntingdon 3 days later. Not helped by a stumble when second Warwick (24f) 5 days ago. Should give good back over hurdles with headgear refitted.

Landed first leg of a double over C&D in February. Pitched into a better race and always on the back foot at Musselburgh the following month and some mitigation for poor run at Kelso in May when found to be lame. Could bounce back following a short break.

Has been out of sorts for current connections, poor hurdling debut with blinkers refitted (following 7 weeks off and a breathing operation) over C&D 6 days ago. Best to look elsewhere.

Poor form in bumpers and made no impact in qualifying runs. Fared little better on handicap debut when producing a clumsy round of jumping at Wetherby 73 days ago. Improvement needed from 1 lb out of the handicap.

Unreliable type looked a difficult ride when third in a poor race on reappearance in April. Followed that with a disappointing run when pulled up at Uttoxeter (23.3f, good) 37 days ago. 4 lb out of the handicap and one to treat with caution.

SHADOWNS IN THE SKY has proved better than ever since ing James Owen and he appeals most back over hurdles with headgear applied for the first time for these connections. Last time out winner Always Busy is respected from his 5 lb lower hurdles mark, while Edgewell would have a chance if bouncing back to something like his best.
